Hello... There is anchorage in Culebrita, the very first island you'll see when coming from BVI. The entrance is good, but shallow.
However, many big sail boats anchor there, and there are some mooring bouys.
After you pass Culebrita, if you turn to port, you will see to your left a beach on the west part of Culebrita, no moorings, but deep enough for you.
Minutes from that beach to starboard, is La Pela, very good place to anchor with no moorings. The entrance is not good, you have to look for the red/green sticks, very hard to see, which mark the entrance. After entering keep dead ahead, or turn to port with another red/green sticks.
If you do not turn to La Pela, and keep going, you'll see the entrance bouys to Ensenada, while you pass the last red/green boys, you will se to port, Dahkity, that's a good anchorage too. Keep going avoiding the reef, and turn to port ( make a U turn ) and enter to Dahkity or to Fulladosa.
Or keep straight and anchor at Ensenada.
There are others at the west part of the island, they are less visited.
My directions are based following a path to the west/northwest, heading to the north of Culebra, not to the west, from St. Thomas.
