considering Culebra. . .

I love this forum!

I spent four months in La Parguera while a student in the mid-90's and always wanted to get to Culebra, but alas. . .it did not happen. I am considering a trip there in April and wondered about inexpensive lodging other than camping, and about whether one side of the island was better than the other in terms of wind and seas in April.

Also, I plan to travel alone and wondered about any information this forum can provide in terms of safety issues.

Hi Catalina, Culebra is very safe but just like anywhere else use your common sense and always be aware of your surroundings. For a nice place to stay that is very close to town I would recommend Casa Ensenada which is located on the bay very close to town.
