What hours are grocery stores open?

What is the largest grocery store on the island? Are they open everyday?Do any of them carry supplies for camping ie: styrofoam coolers, firestarter, food to cook over charcoal etc.. Are the food and items reasonably priced? What is there to do at night? Thanks Fawn

until about 6 or 7 depending. and most every day. so plan and be flexy. also if you smoke choices are limited (meaning ultra lights or imports)

Mayra is most likely to have the camping stuff, check the other current thread for store reviews.

at night? nothing except your random hootenanny or unless it's Saturday then everyone gathers around the de-sal plant, holds hands and sings the score of Gypsy! while trying their best Bob Dylan impersonation.

but isn't part of the fun the surprise and exploration?

Genesis (the market on the road heading toward Zoni) is open until 9 at night and 6 on Sundays...great little market!
