Flamenco.. on foot from Ferry?

Greetings!

I wonder how long it could be reaching Flamenco beach on foot from the Ferry's Terminal?

I will be travelling from Fajardo on the Ferry... at 11am.

I ask cause not sure if it worths renting a car to get there.

it's a long walk, you can take an inexpensive public car to flamenco for about 5.00pp each way. there will be many available when you get off the ferry. enjoy puerto rico!

Not possible. Well, okay it is possible, but a bit of a waste of your precious vacation time. Publicos are waiting when the ferry arrives to take passengers directly to Flamenco. The cost is $2 per person. Publicos are usually available at the beach and always available a couple of hours before the ferry departs to start taking passengers back to the ferry dock. It's not necessary to rent a car if all you're going to do is go out to Flamenco.

Well thanks u a lot for ur quick answers!

I'm planning to take the whole family there, admire Flamencos', buy some souvenirs, just to stay a complete day (well just enough to get back to the Metropolitan area same day)

I've done it a few times. Can be a fun walk if you're fit enough. Will take you anywhere from 20 mins to half an hour--not THAT long a walk. Just make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen because it may be quite hot.

From the ferry the price of a Publico to Flamenco is $2.00 per person. You are better off taking a Publico
