My husband and I stayed at Casa Ensenada. It was a wonderful experience! Unlike the large resorts, Jackie and Butch made our stay very personal and “homey.” Both our host and hostess were able to relay a wealth of information about activities on Culebra as well as the local politics. Coco, their dog, really made us feel as though we were guests in someone’s home. All the shops, grocery stores, and restaurants were within walking distance. We had a great time using the kayak. We highly recommend Casa Ensenada!

I am a seasoned Culebra traveler. I have visited the Island now three times and wish I could get in a trip this year but it will have to be 2007. I have stayed on all three occasions at Casa Ensenada and cannot say enough great things about this guest house or its owners, Butch and Jackie. I would not stay anywhere else!! It is within walking distance to absolutely everything and you can always catch a van to Playa Flamenco for $2.

Casa Ensenada has a gorgeous back deck area and you can save money by using the nice big grill to cook some of your meals. The free kayak is a great way to explore, especially Iguana alley!
