Sharks??..has anyone seen them in Culebra?

Just wondering...has anyone ever seen sharks around Culebra? I'm hoping to snorkle, but don't want to run into any!!

Saw one while we visited and was snorkeling. PLEASE remember they're scared of you. The one we saw rounded a corner of the reef we were heading towards and then darted off into the distance never to be seen of again. We caught a glimpse for about 2 seconds. It was a beautiful thing to see and only enhanced our experience. Don't be scared unless you plan on strapping dead fish to your arm and letting a trail of blood follow you in the water! They're harmless. Just have fun and take it all in. :)

On numerous occasions I have seen Hammer Heads in the waters between Culebra & Culebrita. Many Sharks are attracted to the fishing farm that is off of Culebra.

Sharks live in the sea, they move around in their house.
So... they can may show up anywhere, anytime.
Yes, Culebra has sharks.
Just enjoy, and take your minimum precaitions.

Okay, there are sharks. More importantly, have people been attacked by the sharks around Culebra?
