I am also having a problem with Thrifty. Our flight was delayed, so I emailed Thrifty to let them know that we wouldn't arrive until the following day. Numerous phone calls were never answered, and there's no message machine. When we arrived, I went straight to the Thrifty office to find it dark, closed, and locked at 2 PM on a Wednesday afternoon in high tourist season. Several other people had the same problem. I finally rented a jeep from Carlos who was very accommodating and helpful. Thrifty, however, has charged my credit card and refuses to respond to my messages. I'd stay far, far away. Carlos Jeeps has my vote.
