roller blading on roads?

I was wondering if the main roads are smooth enough for our teens to rollerblade? We will be camping.

Picture rolling hills, some very steep, with intermittent pot holes and in some places lots of sand on the roads. Then again, you may run across a clean newer section. If this is their idea of fun, then go for it. I have rollerblades and would not bring them to Culebra but it could be done.
