I've heard several nonspecific references to the Dakity Establishment. Can anyone file a more detailed report? What, where, when, how much, who, etc.?

hi, Doug this is a day trip , customers spend the day onboard
we have a 40 ' boat with a deck anchored in dakity
we have kayaks for customers,lunch, and trasportation from town
available friday to sunday and holidays from 10 am to 4 pm

Dakity is located in the east of culebra island very calm water ,clear & safe area
st.thomas and vieques view .....close to punta soldado
boater's spend weekends in Dakity ....
very nice place .............

Have they arrested you yet?
The violation of Dakity with a
commercial operation featuring
alcohol shows where your head
is at. I called the DRNA
they say you are illegal. Do you
have a Captain'slicense? Does it
include serving liquor? Do you have
the approval and permits from the
local gov.? Does the public service
commision license you for this? Does
Mamacita's endorse this also?
I have friends in Culebra and this idea
is not popular with any of them?

from if you know the law but let me tell you ...
i have liquor license for my operation .....
i pay a lot of patentes , and licence if you want to see
call me and come to my boat and i show you no problem with me....
we try to do something different in culebra for the tourist people

i dont have a drunkard day trip .....

we have a fun day trip with lunch , kayaks and enjoy the
day if you want you can drink a beer or pina colada or a bushwhacker
you can enjoy . i dont want drunks on-board

if you want to talk about me... first you need to know what i do
but welcome come with us is only $ 45.00 p.p.

they think I wiil arrest for you stupid comments..

I and my family live from my work i dont come to culebra for vacation
i am not a retire person. i live from my work ....please you comments are bad for me and my family .....
i am not a criminal ... i never was arrested in my life
i have a service in culebra for tourist
a lot of people and places live for the tourist
if you dont .............i dont have the same lucky

if you dont like my day trip in dakity or culebrita you and your friends can go to other place in Culebra o better move to other place
culebra is a big place but no to much people if you want a enemy

I'm very dissapointed at yours comments about Capt. Luis buissness I have not idea what is your motive to do somthing like that to hurt someone that is bringing something new to a place that needs new things for locals and tourist like me. Probably you are someone jelous for someone with new ideas but i being in that place and am very sure Capt. Luis have all papers in order but for the way you talk is not about permits is somthing else. If you live in Culebra and you have a restaurant do you really think this new idea will hurt you if so i think is about time for you to do somthing different in your buissness and not trying to distroy oders with false staments. Capt. Luis don't worry people like that is not need it in Culebra,I spent 2 weaks in Culebra in low season and I realize how tuff is to live in there but that island really need people like you to keep growing and giving good service to visitors the way you do it. Mr. Luis I'm sure Culebra pepole and Goverment are in your side.

Captain Ron,

Thanks for the matches last trip we made to Dakiti! We were without food or water for weeks and you saved our life. No, really though it was a big favor and displays the Culebra Spirit.

What is this here, a helpful tool for tourists, essentially helping out Culebra economy or the a place for people to vent their unjustified anger. You guys are supposed to be hippies that dont get mad. I dont get it nor never will.

In a nutshell, Luis, your service kicks ass, the foods good and the beer's cold. Best of Luck and keep up the good work

We stayed at Ocean View and took a day trip to Dakity with Luis. 'Also ate at the restaurant at Ocean View. All were delightful! Luis and his family are hard-working, helpful folks who've lived on Culebra for years. I highly recommend them for anything you might want or need while visiting Culabra. Enjoy!!!

Unfortunately, when I went by the place in our rental boat, it was closed. We had rented the boat for tuesday-thursday. It looked rather innocuous to me; no more obtrusive than any of the other boats in the anchorage. I rather wanted to enjoy a cocktail, but our timing was bad.

Doug, how was your trip other than this disappointment of not being able to have a drink in Dakiti ;)
