Leaving rental car at dock in Fajardo?

We're planning to rent a car in San Juan, drive to the dock at Fajardo, and then take the ferry to Culebra, just for the day. We will have to leave our luggage in the rental car. Is that safe (i.e., is there parking lot security)? Is there all-day parking at the dock? Thanks.

yes there is all day parking at the dock - for just a few dollars. It is a gated lot with and attendant on duty (not a security guard though). We have left our car there many times with no problems.
