The jacuzzis you mention are more commonly called "The Baths", because they resemble the feature of the same name on Virgin Gorda. We were there on a relatively calm day so the 'jacuzzi' action was minimal. The rock formation is like a series of bathtubs where fish are occasionally trapped and you can snorkel. It is located to the extreme left end of Tortuga, as you face the beach from the water.
Another feature of this beach is the turtle grass bottom. Boaters and other recreators are cautioned to not disturb this, because it provides foraging for the famous sea turtle population after which this beach is named. If you are lucky enough to be there when it is uncrowded, snorkle quietly out to this grass and you may see one or more.
Once, when I rode out there in a boat, I was relating to a friend how I had seen a couple. He was skeptical and cynical. I loved it when we shut down the motor and within seconds, four greens surfaced around us.
Enjoy,
Doug
