Hey,
I think we could all benefit from a deep breath. Capt. Guzman's posts have been, by and large, very gracious and giving. He has been treated well at Villa Boheme, and talks it up when given the opportunity; I think that's good. Tamarindo, like all places that serve the public, has some days that are bettert than others. If they try their best to mitigate issues for guests, that's all we can ask; if not, a bad review is a good thing. If they are overpriced, the market will take care of that as it apparently is doing at Costa Bonita. In general, every place on the island has had good and bad reviews, something probably most attributable to the limitations of the work-force available for hire on the island.
Another thing. I think we need to remember that, while Jose's English is very good (WAY better than my Spanish;-), some Spanish idioms do not translate perfectly into English and vice versa. This can unintentionally cause misunderstandings of the tone or meanings in a posting. Let's give each other the benefit of the doubt. Culebra is way too much fun and this forum is way too beneficial to spoil it with personal bickering.
