My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Culebra (Oct.'04) and walked and traveled to as many beaches as possible. The beaches we didn't venture to were Brava and Resaca. Looking at several maps of Culebra, I'm imagining that you can only get to these beaches off the main road and then hike into them the rest of the way?? Are there such trails to get to these beaches? Will we be allowed to step foot on these beaches with turtle nesting season in progress now until the end of May? I will be traveling to Culebra in the middle of May'05. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
I do not know aboout the trails, but you should contact the Natural Resources office in Culebra, prior to step on those beaches.
Just to find what the rules are.
