Car/scooter rental?

Hello,
I have been a long time visitor to this forum and have found it to be a great resource for finding and sharing information about this great little island. My girlfirend and I visited Culebra for the first time in June 2003 and are now returning to PR/Cul/Vieques January 1-15 2005. We are very excited about the chance to return!
On to my question, we are planning on camping on Flamenco beach January 5-11 and were hoping to get some information regarding our stay. Last time we were on Culebra, we rented a scooter from JM rentals inc. BTW, we recommend their services-they are friendly and the scooters are fun for traveling around the island. We would like to rent a scooter again but I do not feel confident leaving all of our gear in our tent. Does Culebra or any of these rental companies offer any storage facilities where we can leave our valuables? What does this forum recommend in regards to storing things while camping?

We stayed a week and left our stuff in our tent...we were in section E of the campground though...pretty far away from the parking lot..you could ask george the campground supervisor to keep an eye out or other campers near you....people are generally good natured down there...there was one suspicious guy who would leave rocks or shells near tents...i think he was marking tents to come back to...someone reported him and the guards took him away promptly..

Myself and my wife and my brother and his wife and my other brother will be camping January 3rd through 10th at the campground. Mabey we could hook up down there and play some cards or something.

If anyone else too sees this email and is going to be in culebra sometime during Jan. 3-11 give me an email. We'll hook up.
