Hello,
I am going to Culebra for the first time this January. I was planning on renting a couple of bikes for transportation. I was wondering how feasible it is to get around the island with just rental bikes? Are there areas of the island we probably wont be able to go to? Also, for an early January stay do I need to reserve rental bikes now? If anyone has any reccommendations as to who has the best bikes/rates that would be appreciated as well.
There are some fairly steep hills and stretches of narrow pavement on the road to Zoni Beach. Other than that, I don't see a huge problem, since the island is probably only 7-8 miles from end to end. Of course, your cargo capacity will be limited.
