I found a scooter rental service called JM rentals inc. is this the only place to rent scooters? What are the daily prices, and are there discounts for renting them for a week? Is this the best way to get around? Also we plan to camp at flamenco, Is there a safe lock box or and sort of security on the premises? Are your things safe left unattended in the campgrounds? One more thing...what is the weather like around january and february

The scooters are a blast! We enjoyed it so much we bought one from him. It makes getting around downtown and parking easy. A few considerations before you go bombing around. I think it's $40 a day rental. I don't think they have a weekly rate. The downside is no insurance. If you dump it you are liable for the parts you damage. They have detailed prices for each part on the scooter. My wife dumped hers and it cost us $300 in parts. So if you're not confident on a bike you will have to take your chances. Carlso Jeep starts at $45 a day up to $65 a day and you can get insurance. In fact I recommend it. The island can be unforgiving to vehicles. Bring your laptop to the island. We now have wireless high speed internet. Have a great time!

THERE IS ANOTHER SCOOTER RENTAL AT THE AIRPORT TERMINAL CALLED CULEBRA SCOOTER RENTALS @ 787-742-0195 OR 787-367-0219 THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD AND FRIENDLY.

Hello Alicia,

We do have weekly rates, it can be from $25.00 24hrs., up to $35.00. All the rates includes two helmets, full tank of gas, and full tank of two cycle oil. In culebra we have two main streets, 251 & 250. If you have experience driving motorcycles you will not have any problems. The scooter is cheaper than a vehicle, for example, the gas here is very expensive, with the scooter you will not have to deal with to much expenses.

But also we are an agency of Thrifty Car Rental, we have all brand new vehicles, different types & different rates. From compact cars starts from $30.00 for 24hrs., up to jeeps wrangler 4x4, 6 cilinders, automatic, A/C, convertible if you want to; mnivans & pick ups.
