Vista Bella Apartments

Our family just returned from Culebra where we spent 4 wonderful days! We stayed at what I would consider to be the best place on the Island. We stayed with Ilia at Vista Bella Apartments. I had read only one review of her apartments but decided this might be the place for us. We were so glad we chose these apartments.

Our two-bedroom apartment was wonderful, very clean, well furnished, and had a fabulous breeze continually blowing through the apartment!! We were up away from the downtown area, and we had a continual view of the planes landing. It was fabulous!!

Also, Ilia's daughter, Mitchelle, runs the Thrifty Car rental. She was very helpful to us, gave us great suggestions for restaurants, suggestions for great beaches, etc.

So glad to hear you enjoyed staying in Vista Bella. We have reserved the two bedroom apt for our upcoming stay in Feb. We will have two couples in the apt - are the two bedrooms comparable? Any suggestions you have on where to eat, etc would be greatly appreciated.

One of the bedrooms has two twin beds; the other has a queen bed. The living area has a futon which pulls out to make a queen (I think) bed. My husband and I slept here because you can open the patio doors and the most wonderful breeze blows through all night. It was so comfortable.

Restaurants--our family ate at Mamacitas (ok); Barbaro Rosa's (great food but we were constantly bothered by many kittens who continually tried to jump all over our tables); Ricci's (spelling?? wonderful food but very pricey); and Dinghy Dock's (our favorite because the food was really good and prices were reasonable and dining on the dock was really neat and comfortable).

Enjoy!! Culebra is a special place.
