another organization, with over 20 years of existence in culebra, is the "educational association for human development of culebra, inc." (asociación educativa pro desarrollo humano de culebra, inc.), a long name for a very dedicated group of people who work with culebra's most high rish families and children. they're located right between town and the airport, beside the street to the "barriada". they are grass-roots' based and are tax-deductible, non-political, and non-sectarian. they may not speak english, or appear "slick" to visitors, but they help some of the most needy families in the community.
when considering helping an organization on the lovely island of culebra, please consider these folks as well.
