Dear Friends and Neighbors.
I am writing on behalf of Surokejo Navideño, the Organizing Committee for the 2015 Christmas Parade in Culebra. We are a group of Culebra citizens who are coordinating a number of activities for the need and enjoyment of all residents and tourists in our municipality.
We want to promote family unity and good community relations. Last year the Christmas Parade 2014 was a great success! There were more than 300 adults and children participating and enjoying the characters, candy and music.
For the 2015 holidays, we want to again hold the Christmas Parade.
This parade weaves through the streets carrying Santa and Christmas and Cartoon Characters ending at the Plaza in town where we will have refreshment stands, we also will have T-Shirts for the kids limited to the first to arrive.
God willing, on December 25, 2015 at 5:00 pm, we will be conducting our traditional
Christmas Parade for the enjoyment of the children and general public. This is a community effort, we can't do it without your help, a donation of $75 (or more!) from our Restaurants, Shops and Guest Houses and $25 from neighbors is what we need to defray costs.
