What Terminal Is Air Flamenco In?

Now that Air Flamenco is also flying out of and into San Juan international, can someone let us know what terminal they fly in/out of and how close it is to Jetblue (which I believe is out of terminal A). They do not show it on their web site.

SJU is not a very big airport, so you should be able to find it. I suspect that they leave from the same general area as Cape Air, Air Sunshine, and the other airlines that serve islands in the Caribbean. Can't remember, but I think it is Concourse B, downstairs.

As Linda said: It is kind of a long walk to the end of B (with your luggage).
You walk almost the length of the terminals along the interior walkway. Then you have to turn right x2 at the end of Terminal B, around a partition, to approach the Air Flamenco counter from the the direction of curbside. It would have been simpler if we had walked on the exterior sidewalk to Air Flamenco's counter but, it gets quite hot outside.
Once you get your boarding passes, you backtrack a little to enter a security line/scan, etc. Then you go downstairs, to wait for departure time. We were gathered up there, by a Air Flamenco rep., for a moderate little walk along the tarmack to the plane.
Everyone was pleasant during our little terminal adventure but, we got a few mixed instructions from terminal staff. Glad we had a good time buffer.

You will love the flight. The sea is gorgeous, and we loved the landing approach to the Culebra landing strip. Have a great time.

Flew in last week to San Juan on Jet Blue. We arrived at 11:50 am but our Air Flamenco flight was not scheduled to leave until 2pm. Julio met us at Jet Blue gate with our name on his sign. He said he could leave in about 15 minutes to Culebra instead of waiting until the scheduled 2pm flight. NO WAY JULIO!! WE RATHER HANG AROUND AT SAN JUAN AIRPORT!! YEA RIGHT!! Much to our added surprise- it was just the two of us with the pilot on the gorgeous flight to Paradise!! We were at the beach by 1:30!! 6 wonderful days!!! Lots of laughs and lots of fun! This was my second trip to Culebra and won't be my last!

Thanks everyone for your responses, especially recommending that we give ourselves a good time buffer since it is such a long walk from the end of terminal "A" to "B". It was especially interesting hearing your experience, Dawn, and how Julio came over to get you and flew a plane over with two people. This was our second trip to Culebra and we typically fly VAL out of Isla Grande. Returning home, we purposely booked the earlier flight this year to give us a longer time buffer, but VAL threw a wrench in because we were the only 2 people on the return flight so they did not have a plane "available" for us until they recruited two more passengers, who were leaving on a later flight (we were biting our nails). That was the final nail in the coffin for VAL as far as we were concerned. We are looking forward to going back for our third trip in 2014 and flying right out of San Juan International.

Dawn - that is the fun, sometimes it's "nope we're going right now!" and others 20 minutes turns into a few hours. island time.

to the OP: SJU is small. don't panic, it's not JFK. as you're facing the terminal(s) from outside, all the small carriers are off to the right.

Dawn, I just remembered - one time on the way back to SJ, the schedule got changed (moved up) and my hungover ass was fetched from the Panaderia not by my friends, but by the pilot himself! we smoked cigarettes while crossing the tarmac (he showed me the shortcut through the fence, cool guy).

to the OP I'd say: expect a longer wait than posted, but don't be surprised if you're bolted into the blue with little warning. I think both have their merits. gets ya ready.
