Does anyone know if there is anyone on Culebra that can officiate a wedding ceremony? I am planning a November-early December trip and would like to see if it is possible for a simple wedding ceremony while there. Thanks.

We just got married on flamenco in may, though we had trouble with the officiating as well. So we just had a friend who was going get ordained online -- perfectly legal, and was actually quite nice having a good friend perform the service. Just an option.

Oh, and about the camping... we camped for 8 days, our wedding in the middle, with no problems. Bugs are fine, only got eaten up one night. Of the two times we've been there has always been a breeze on the beach. Not so much in the campsites due to the vegetation, but there you have the shade.

I'm no expert, but I highly suggest doing it. It was so freaking amazing for us I can't even describe it. I promise, all of your chick-friends will be jealous of the pictures -- my wife's are!
