Flights between Vieques and Culebra

Hello! traveling to vieques next week and i want to fly from vieques to culebra midweek (thurs, may 5) and then culebra to san juan sunday may 8. Any recommendations? confused as to what airlines are running these services.

It's usually a special charter. You have to ask the airlines directly if they will do it. If they have enough people, they will run a flight.

thank you! I also just found this out from a conversation with someone else. Going to call the airlines tomorrow and see. It's too bad they stopped this, it was only a year ago my friend went to Vieques/Culebra and was able to fly and said it was inexpensive, fast, and great!

I paid $25 last July to fly Air Flamenco from Vieques to Culebra and from Culebra to Vieques with the same airline and fare in 2008. Too bad this is no longer an option without a much more expensive charter.

for the record, I called VAL.
Seems like the only flight is Vieques to Ceiba, Ceiba to Culebra. $70 1 way, $140 round trip. A good connection time leaving at noon and connecting at 12:30, but ooh that price!
Air Flamenco said only charters were available.

is taking the ferry back and forth in 1 day loco? seems like the best bet.

I would pick one of the islands and enjoy your time there. All day on the ferries and waiting in lines is no way to spend your vacation.
