mainland rental vehicle

Hi all, this Saturday my family and I, eight in all, are flying into SJU. Our current plan is to rent a 13-passenger vehicle, explore the south-eastern quadrant of the island for a few days before taking the ferry from Fajardo to Culebra. But, we have not found a rental agency that allows drop off in Fajardo, they want the van back in SJ, so we're thinking we need to park it at the ferry lot for the five days we're in Culebra.
That seems crazy. Why pay for a van we're not using. There must be some rental agency that allows drop off in Fajardo, and could maybe even get us to the ferry. Yes?
And, we're not dead set on one vehicle. That is just the most economical under out current approach.
Thanks for any help. We're really excited about our trip. It's for my mom's 60th birthday. My brother and I were on Culebra 11 years ago, and are looking forward to being there again with our parents, partners, and kids.

Try Enterprise or Avis -- there's a fee for drop-off in Fajardo, but it beats parking the vehicle all that time. You may have to call rather than trying to book online. I had success calling the Enterprise SJU location.

It only costs $5/day to park in Fajardo. That may be less than the drop off fee. Avis is our choice. They will run you back and forth between the ferry and their office.

You can also try Leaseway. I have picked up in SJU and dropped off at Fajardo. They will give you a ride from their Fajardo office back to the ferry terminal.
