VAL Flight Question

I am coming in on a sunday at 1:55pm, and I want to catch the 4:45pm VAL flight to Culebra... What's the odds of VAL canceling flight because of weather? I read somewhere on here that one guy got his cancelled because of low clouds?

There are always clouds on their way to the rain forest. The little planes fly low and can fly around them or even through the rain clouds. I saw that one post earlier but I wouldn't worry about it. I never had one canceled in over a decade. Enjoy.

They don't fly IFR so that is an hour to hour decision, no way to predict. I have sat for hours waiting for weather to clear, but not often. Chances are your flight will be on time and as scheduled. However, that said, don't expect anything in the Caribbean to be as scheduled. Everything is island time. We learned that years ago on Vieques when we tried to buy sugar. Clerk said "no sugar today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week". Relax, enjoy.
