Flights from Cieba

Which airlines are now flying from Cieba to Culebra on a scheduled basis and not charter? Also, is there anyway to check their flight times. There will possibly be 5 of us. John will pick us up at SJU and take to the airport at Ceiba. Our flight gets into SJU at 2PM. I know the option of flying from SJU and Isla Grande and we have done this in the past. Three young adults will be with us this trip and are on a tight budget. Every $ saved will really help them. TIA.

VAL is the only one I have heard flying from Ceiba. You should call them to see if it's on a regular schedule. Cheapest way to go would be to take the ferry.

The problem with the ferry would be it would have to be the 7PM one, which would get us into Culebra too late to get our vehicle.

If you are renting a vehicle from Special Forces Commander Jerry, then perhaps he can leave your jeep at the ferry terminal for you. You may wish to inquire about that option with him.

If you are getting into SJU at 2:00pm then you should be able to make it to Fajardo in plenty of time for the 4:30pm carga ferry.

Does it run on Saturdays at 4:30? That would be great. Last July Jerry asked that I take a flight instead of getting there late on the ferry so I could do the paperwork on the vehicle. I will just have to speak with him. Thanks for the tip on the cargo ferry.

I do not think the carga ferry runs on Sat or Sun. Ask him to fax you the paper work and you can complete it and fax it back. Or if you have time just snail-mail the paperwork. I know he doesn't do Email; no computer. LOL

You are probably right about no fax since he only seems to use his cell phone.

June will be beaufiful with all of the flamboyant trees and others in bloom.

We have been in June and July and the foliage is spectacular. On sick leave now and making the best of my time while healing, by finalizing my plans!!
