Live music at Mamacitas

Hi,

I heard that Mamacitas is no longer having live music on the weekends.

Is that true?

If so, what happend?

The group with the bongos was fabulous, the perfect dancing atmosphere in Culebra.

We would love to hear them play and dance to their beat again!

If anyone has a say so in this matter and gets this message, you have many votes in favor!!!

I second that, Melanie. Hopefully those percussionists are still making rythmic magic. I've been telling all my friends who plan to someday visit Culebra about them.

I will be visiting Culebras On June 10 - 11, 2004 for Scuba Diving.

During the dive planing I asked about dancing music I was tolk that at Mamacitas that was the place, but now on Friday nights only CD 's play.

Mamacitas is having music during the weekends to please the local people and our visitor. Dj music y playing on Fridays Nights and Conga Nights stills plays on Saturdays nights. Thank you for your concern.

I agree that mamacitas has the right atmosphere and is the nicest hangout on the island.
