Looking for a place to rent for large group of people

Hey everyone,

We are planning on going to Culebra again in February, but looking for a place that can house 8 to 10 people. We are still ironing out how many people will be coming along, but want to see what the best options are for renting a house/other accommodations. We will probably be spending 3-4 nights there.

And to help figure out rooms...

You may get all kinds of opinions here; best to call one of the rental agencies directly with your numbers and dates (especially if it's President's Day Week in February - very popular vacation week on Culebra, and things fill up fast).

Hola! It is smart of you to start looking now. February is mid high season for snow birds looking for warmer weather. An agency, such as those mentioned by Debbie are a good resource. They can find accommodations for a big group like yours with a good location. You can also call or Email yourself. Many of the places around Culebra, Mamacitas, Kokomo, etc. have enough rooms for that many people. The key thing here is to start shopping around ahead of time so you can find the best affordable place at a strategic location. I would do the same homework for transportation. Book your rental vehicles ahead of time or find out about the publicos big enough fto transport your entire group. Negotiate prices with your drivers before you get in the vehicle. Plan ahead and be flexible. Happy travels! J

You might want to check out Casa Del Sol. Just do a google search. It is a large home at a great price and the views are to die for. There are 4 bedrooms and I know that one of them has 3 or 4 beds in it. Numerous decks. Happy planning. We stayed there for a week last summer prior to flying to Vieques for another week.
