Beach umbrellas/chairs

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is a place to purchase a beach umbrella and beach chairs in Culebra?

If not, does Walgreen's in San Juan sell them?

This is our 4th trip to the Island, and the last time I rented one for the week from a woman who owned a store close to the canal (I vaguely remember that she was a dog lover and was taking contributions for the spaying of dogs/cats in Culebra). Is she still renting umbrellas?

When we were there last November, there was a guy right on Flamenco Beach who was renting umbrellas.

Good afternoon,
The woman that you mention, Gail, is no longer here, nor is her store.

Animal Welfare of Culebra (http://animalwelfareculebra.org) still needs plenty of help, however!

Walmart, K-Mart, & Walgreens on the big island all sell chairs & umbrellas, however they are "seasonal" items.

Some properties, like us, will have items available for their guests' use.

Sometimes the kiosks at Flamenco sell these types of items, but it is random. As mentioned the man at Flamenco does rent chairs & very nice umbrellas.
