The guy at the gas station by Colmada Milka usually has some in a freezer.

Well, it was fresh when it was brought it in. If it doesn't get sold, he freezes it. Better than going bad, no?

Yes, Yes, agreed.....maybe I can talk to the guy and when they bring it in fresh, he could call me? Is he easy to work with like that? I'd like to have lobster while I am visiting, and it seems that I have never seen it on a menu at any of the restaurants in the past.

El Eden, 787.742.0509, has lobster, all sorts of fish, meats, etc. But frozen too. They have a very GOOD selection of foods and alcoholic beverages. They are just up the road on the left before the Gulf station.

Excellent meatball sub and Cuban sandwhich!

Well, there's not really "a guy" I don't think. I think the local fishermen (plural) bring in their catch to the restaurants and the fish co-op, which is located at the Gulf station. I know Susie serves it occasionally. Like you, I don't see it on menus often.

As a diver, I can tell you there are not always a lot of lobster in Culebra's waters. Sometimes we see large colonies, but in the last couple of years, we've only been seeing 1-5 per vacation. Could be the time of year; I don't know.

Thanks Everyone! I'll check near the Gulf Station and El Eden and check for lobster. I will definitely be checking out the meatball sub at El Eden too!! :-)
