September weather in Culebra

I'm visiting Culebra in early September and was hoping someone could provide me with some info on the weather. I understand that this is in the thick of the hurricane season (I'm from Miami, so I know the drill), but what is the day-to-day weather like that time of year? Will we be rained out from our beach vacation?

Hi Erik,
I visited Culebra in September 3 years ago and in the entire week I was there it rained once for ten minutes. I wouldn't worry, you will have a great time.

I visited August 24, 2007 through September 3, 2007 and as I recall, it rained just about 5-6 times the entire ten days, but the rain only lasted about 10-20 minutes each time and then the sun came back out.......I had just about the entire island to myself during these dates, with the exception of the Holiday weekend.....
