Hola!
This company might be on the steep side but, it will give you some information and guidance on what requirements in terms of paperwork, marriage license and lab work you need to be legally married in Puerto Rico:

My advice is be patient and make a list and check it 2, 3, 4, times. Administrative officials are not to be hurried. They take their time and if you don't have all the paperwork you need, you might have had the ceremony but your marriage might not be legal in the eyes of the law. A marriage is legally valid if you get married by the church but, I would file and get a certified marriage document from the government as well. I got married by the church in Puerto Rico and I also have a legal document from the government, too. You want to be extra sure you have all you need before and after the ceremony as it is hard to fix these things once you leave the island form a distance. Good luck and happy travels! J
