What is the cost of living on Culebra vs. Central Florida? Also, how do most people make a living?

Cost of living is really not that high, especially considering that the PR mainland is only a ferry ride away, where there are Wal-Marts, etc.

Making a living is another matter. There are naturally far less options than on the mainland.

There is a tourist industry for sure, but most tourists chose Culebra because it's relatively cheap and rustic... like the Caribbean used to be decades ago. So there just isn't a ton of money floating around like, say, St. Thomas.
