Proposal on 3-7-04 ish

There was a guy wondering about good proposal places on Culebra, and someone recommended Culebrita.
So we are sitting at Mamacita's on the canal one night and a couple drive by in a boat and she is flashing a ring, smiling, and saying "We just got engaged!!". Was that the same guy?? How fun!

I wasn't that guy, but I proposed to my girlfriend 3/28 on Soldado. We were completely alone and had just gone snorkeling in the reef. It was an amazing, nerve-wracking, unforgettable experience. She was completely blind-sided, but thankfully she said yes (we had never talked about marriage before so I was rolling the dice a little bit).

Culebra is a wonderful island and will forever hold a special place among my life's memories. But I plan to go back to make more memories. Maybe to make babies. Awwww yeah!
