About eight years ago, I went to Culebra with a friend of mine. While we were out and about, someone told us about a restaurant right on the water. I think it was on the way to Flamenco Beach from town, and we had to turn off the main road and take dirt roads for quite aways to get to it. It was right on the ocean, with open air tables, and they had the best whole red snapper I'd ever eaten. I'm about to come back to Culebra with my husband, and I'd love to take him to this restaurant, but I am pretty sure I would not be able to find it again. Does anyone out there know which restaurant I'm talking about? Where is it? Thanks!!!

Ricci's at Tamarino Estates.
No longer there (to the best of my knowledge)
Which is too bad ...

May I recommend making a reservation at Susie's and requesting a table outside along the canal / mangroves?

Tina's is now called "El Caobo".
Same location.
But I may have spelled it incorrectly.
"El Caobo", not Tina's. ;-)

Ricci who used to run the restaurant at Tamarindo Estates now has a place called Shark's located at Costa Bonita. He has great food and is very talented

Shark's is the only positive thing to come out of Costa Bonita. The place still seems like something out of the "Twilight Zone" though.

Actually I think Tina's was always El Coabo, but nobody ever called it that, just Tina's. Now that it's owned by Marco, you can't really say it's Tina's anymore. Still has good food.

Caobo - that's the other name I couldn't recall. good to know - zero view, few choices, great food.
