no, you cant leave your bags at the ferry.
how are you getting to the ferry? are you sharing a cab?
you can rent a car one way from avis.
then youd have a bit of freedom to eat.
they'll drive you back to the ferry.
though im not sure what time they close.
otherwise theres a errr, ummm, "cafeteria" at the ferry with
empenadas and pizza.
also, you can ask the driver to stop somewhere on the way.
theres lots of fast food places on the way.
im not totally sure, but, i think the window opens
one hour before departure.
you should be there. especially if its a saturday.
