Reservations for January Accommodations

Hi everybody,

is it necessary to make reservation for Culebra accomodation in January? We're planning to stay for 2-3 nights from 25th of January and since this is the high season I'm afraid not to get any available room...?
I'm also interested in rates for San Jose - Culebra flight and if it is possible to fly on Sunday..

Make your room reservations ASAP! You can fly to Culebra from Isla Grande which is a fifteen minute taxi ride from San Juan. They do fly on Sundays but you need to call them to reserve. Air Flamenco, it is approx. $105 pp round trip. Best of luck, you may have a hard time finding a place this late, but call!!!

Thank you Bosie and Michael. It is indeed San Juan, I made a mistake, since this year I was in San Jose - Costa Rica...

I will check with air Flamenco about the flight as soon as we decide 100%.

Can you maybe suggest some nice non-expensive accomodation (apartment or room) in a nice location near the beach?

As I noticed torists love Culebra, do you think is ok to stay only on this island or should we see some highlights of Puertorico (we're also staying in San Juan 2 days and going on a cruise with Adventure...)

Do you maybe kno the approx rates for renting a scooter or a jeep?

You can stay at Hotel Kokimo and catch the publico to Flamenco and not bother with a scooter or jeep. Since this is high season, you will probably have a hard time finding a scooter or jeep. Kokiomo is right at the ferry landing and an easy walk into restraunts, bars, etc. Enjoy!!
