Day trip to Culebra

I'm interested in going on a day trip to Culebra with my wife. For a number of reasons, we would only be able to stay one day arriving somewhat early in the morning and leaving in the evening. I'd like to find a place where the kids could crash and take a nap in the afternoon. Is there a hotel of some type in Culebra that will let me rent a place just for the day? Ideally I could get it in the morning so we could drop our things, hit the beach or kayak, come back for a nap, hit the beach again, and then go get cleaned up before we take a trip back to Puerto Rico.

Any suggestions?

Hola! Sounds like Hotel Kokomo might be for you. They have inexpensive rooms and even though you would be paying for one night and using it for less time, you'd have a place to shower and beds for your little ones to nap. Look them up under the SHELTER listing in this website and give them a call. Their location is great, just across the street from the boat pier, however, they are a bare bones hotel, don't expect the Hilton, LOL!!!! Happy travels! J

nap: wet towels and a bush to cower under. they'll look really trashy, but who honestly cares?

in fact if I'd had a juice box as well that New Year's Day...
