SJU - how big is it?

Friends will be meeting my husband and I at SJU before we fly to culebra together. We are both coming in on american flights. How large is SJU? Will we find each other without difficulty? I heard there is 1 bar... is that a good place to meet? Can you get lunch there, or is it not recommended? My friend may need a beer to survive the flight to culebra! What about the small regional airport that Air Flamenco flies out of...can you eat or drink there? Thanks!

There is also only one taxi stand. You go up to them and they make sure you get the next taxi in line. Isla Grande airport has a bar and restaurant, I'd get out of the big one and head over there for my drink and food, it's only about 15 minutes away.

I'd hold off on the drink before the puddle jumper.

SJU isn't huge, just poorly arranged with a double corridor outside the security check. hidden small food court and inter-island counters on the inner. major airline counters and USDA APHIS on the outer.

have they ever installed clocks and flight info screens?

If you're flying to Culebra from Grande I'd just go there and meet or as you leave the SJU terminal go left and meet in front of the entrance for the indie airlines. not far, the terminal it ends there (and it all connects from the inside).

assuming that's all still accurate given the never-ending construction.
