Hello-
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much time I will need to catch a flight to Culebra once we arrive in San Juan. I heard the security and customs lines can be bad. I am flying Isla Nena and have about 1 hr to get the flight to Culebra.

Any thoughts comments....

Unfortunately the amount of time varies. If you have only carry-on, your chances will improve dramatically. Isla Nena may be reluctant to take your reservation with only 1 hour between flights. We arrived in San Juan in February at 11:40 AM and could have easily made the Isla Nena flight @ 12:30, but they wouldn't take the reservation. We tried to get on anyway(hoping for space) but the flight was full. So, we took the 3:30 and it all worked out OK anyway.
Our experiences (many) with Isla Nena have been very positive.

They have 4p flights at the Isla Grande airport. Only a 15 minute cab ride away. Air Flamenco and Viequez Air Link. If you have four max five people you can hire Matt with Air Culebra for $375 one way and leave when you want.
