I just got back from Culebra last week, and I have to let y'all know that the best scuba on Culebra is definitely with Taz at Aquatic Adventures. You can email him at info@culebradivers.com. I called all the places, and he had the cheapest rates, took us out to Culebrita (AMAZING diving!! turtles, rays, and even a juvenile nurse shark!), fed us lunch, and then we spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the deserted beaches of Culebrita. He provided excellent gear and instruction, and I felt very safe diving with him (BTW, this was my first saltwater dive, so I was a little nervous at the beginning. My certification dive was in a quarry in Ohio!). What also made the experience special was that I was the only tourist on the boat; everyone else was an islander, and they welcomed me into the fold. All in all, it was truly a magical day for me.
