I was told by Sylvia today that some women are coming from the states to teach some vegetarian cooking recipes Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m. It will be held between Sylvia's house and the 7th Day Adventist Church. Head toward the Isla del Sol market, and stop before you get to the cross street.
No fees involved, just show up. I don't know how churchy it will be, but it is definitely worth checking out if vegetarian cooking and meeting some wonderful Culebrense is of interest to you.
Sylvia calls herself my lucky angel and she is...for some reason, when she shows up at the cart I always make a sale within minutes, and today was no exception. For a tiny woman, she packs a powerful punch!
