hotel near Isla Grande airport

Author: Tricia (65.173.18.---) Date:   09-20-07 15:54 Hello, We will be flying into San Juan late evening in feb. and would like a hotel suggesstion near Isla Grande airport. It will be just to sleep and get up to get the first flight to Culebra. Looking for not over priced but it must be clean. Don't need frills. Thanks, Tricia There is no such thing as a bad vacation. I would try Hotels.com and or Expedia and see what deals are out there - best prices vary between hotels at different times. I often fly in late at night just for on overnight before heading to Culebra. I have stayed at Courtyard Marriott, Hampton Inn, Bestwestern Airport, Normandie Hotel, the Coral Princess (cheapest and clean), . Since you will be taking a cab to the Isla Grande airport, figure two fares if you are staying off the airport property overnight (ride to hotel then to airport next morning). That could add $20 to your stay - so figure that in when matching prices. All hotels around airport, Isla Verde, condado etc. are only 15 minutes or less to Isla Grande so no real worry about staying right near Isla Grande. Good Luck.
