Are there any hazards, like jelly fish or sea urchins that be ecountered when swimming around the islands in Culebra?

sea urchins aplenty on the rocky parts of most beaches (esp. Melones and at the entrance to Rosario). you can get a pair of "water socks" for around $15-25 I found mine at a Speedo store here, but the dive and gift shops usu. carry them there.

for future reference: does anyone know if there are restrictions on harvesting urchins? I found instructions on roasting them and am intrigued by the idea (but then I like Uni nigiri).

lack of html - it just reminds us to be more careful how we word things and (pardon me) NOT USE ALL CAPS! I think we've all met the type that does.

but seriously, given how plentiful sea urchins are, are there restrictions? I understand from another current thread surf fishing is sensitive (thanks Doug) and respect that, and I prob. will never bother, but if I got the urge, would I be in error?
