Snorkel tours?

Last I knew, she was using one of their boats while hers was awaiting repair. On the day that I left, her new engine was supposed to arrive, so she may be back on her own boat now. We did a ton of snorkeling right off the island beaches - best spot are Tamarindo and Carlos Rosario beaches accessed by foot path from the parking lot at Flamenco Beach. We also did a day trip to Culebrita Island by water taxi with Luis (from Culebra Ocean View Guest House). He is Coast Guard certified captain and drops you off at Culebrita Island in the morning and picks you up in the afternoon. Tel: 787.360.9807 Culebrita Island has a beautiful reef right off the beach and some fun short hikes over to Tortuga Beach and a light house. We brought our own snorkel gear, so if you don't bring your own, ask Luis if he has some to rent. If he doesn't, he'll know where to get it. Enjoy!

We were actually there in late April. I'm just slow about posting trip reports and stuff like that, especially since it's so depressing to be back to the rat race. Anyway, we had a great day snorkeling with Taz! He took us to three good spots and was very professional. The weather was not cooperating the day we were supposed to go, but we rescheduled for the next day and got to see lots of cool stuff. This worked out really well since we didn't have much chance to do any shore snorkeling during our visit due to the heavy rain while we were there. I should post a full trip report one of these days before I forget all the details!
