Mass Rescue Exercise on August 9th

A Norwegian Cruise Liner will pretend to run aground off of Culebra ... "NCL volunteered to be the lead cruise line in this exercise to assist the Coast Guard in their emergency preparedness efforts. A simulated cruise ship needing to transfer all its passengers to Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands after running aground off the island of Culebra, Puerto Rico will be the scenario emergency responders will need to react to during the exercise. Select members of NCL's incident response team in Miami, Fla. will contribute to the field exercise." Author: MJ (---.prtc.net) Date:   08-08-07 06:37 I didn't know from the street, but I get updates from Google on anything to do with Culebra, I'd read it...but trust me, me not knowing something doesn't mean a lot of people don't. People in the Port Authority knew, I'm sure....and let others know. It drifts to the cart eventually, but not always first! There is a Culebrense coconut telegraph that works really well!

Amazing...the street cleaning folk are out in full force, getting trash out of the mangroves from the graveyard to town, I love it! Maybe we can get him to show up once a month. Why is he showing up? We'll see...
