My boyfriend and I are visiting Culebra for the first time, from August 14th to the 24th. We are so excited, despite the fact that the National Weather Center says rain every single day.

But we want to know from anyone who has visited the island in the past couple of months wether or not the ferry from Fajardo to Culebra has changed it's schedule at all. Is it safe to assume the one posted on this site is still accurate? I've tried calling both the office on Culebra and on Fajardo, but there was no answer.

If anyone knows anything, please help!

Thanks so much guys for all of the information posted on the forum, it has helped us SO much in our vacation planning!!!

hi,
we just moved to Culebra from Tortola, but i think it will be pretty similar. in Tortola the weather forcast said 30% chance of rain every day & visitors would always be worried until we told them that it's ALWAYS 30% or more!

Thank you both for your replies!!

It's reassuring to know that 30% rain everyday doesn't mean our vacation will be washed out!....

Another question, now knowing that the ferry schedule is the same, would we need to worry about reserving tickets for a 3pm ferry from Fajardo to Culebra on Aug. 14th?

I have been following this thread and have a simlar question...Does one need advance reservations for the ferry during the midweek in mid febuary?(not bringing a car)
