Hello to all!!! I'm planning to celebrate my first year with my boyfriend in Culebra. We will be staying from August 17 - 19, 2007. I was searching for a romantic getaway for both of us and its been kind of hard deciding where to stay. So... HELP ME PLEASE jajaja I would like to stay at a beach. I was told Flamenco Beach is the best but I saw most hotels were at Ensenada Hondas Beach. So I'm confused. Please help me decide. Thank you!!!

Ensenada Honda is the large, sheltered harbor of Culebra, rather than a beach. Not much sand and its not recommended that you swim there, at least on the Dewey (town) end. There are lodgings on Flamenco and Tamarindo beaches, as well as rental villas near other beaches, notably Zoni.

On Flamenco, try Culebra Beach Villas or Villa Flamenco Beach. Tamarindo Beach Cottages are a more secluded choice. Contact info is in the shelter section of this site, as are several rental agencies for villa inquiries.

Well this place is not exactly right on the beach but it was an awesome quiet place. I stayed at Bahia Marina with my Girlfriend and we had a great time. The pool was beautiful and since there were not too many guest it was kinda "private" for us (insert smiley here..lol).

The views from the rooms where awesome and romantic, the rooms were clean and had Direct TV and DVD player, thay had room service and a place to eat on location. We rented a jeep and enjoyed most of the day out looking for beaches and places to snorkle.

Honestly the price was awesome, compared to all the other cottages and rentals available in Culebra. Very competitive price.
