OUR BEACHES

That day is the trial of Pan Meibers for criminal charges against him made by Victor Gonzalez, the cement importer that wants to privatize muellecito beach access. The American Civil Lyberties Union is going to represent Pan. The Municipio of Culebra said that Gonzalez structutes blocking access to muellecito are ilegal and he has 30 days to to so or to appeal.Culebra is not the only place that have suffered from the actions of this cement importer. In Guayanilla Victor Gonzalez is responsible for the destruction of a cave with petrogliphs and for the killing of more than 2,000 adult trees. We can not tolerate anymore the stealing of our heritage and the destruction of the environment. Our Constituion guarantees equal right to enjoy our beaches.
