Kiosk Flamenco Beach
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Hello,
I was in Culebra one month ago and loved it.

I saw a Kiosk there for sale at flamenco beach and would like to buy it, called the owner and she spoke no English but what I understood is that the Kiosk needs to be removed...She said the municipale said so.

I would love to open a stand there selling food, good food...

I am wondering if anybody can help me find out why it needs to be removed and what it takes to open a Kiosk there.

If you speak better Spanish than me- the phone number of the owner of the kiosk is 787 421 5790

Thank you soooo much for all your help.

Astrid

Was it in near the parkling area, or was it the Coconuts place by the Beach Rentals buildings?

"parkling"?

You've read too much Nabakov:

"the stars sparkling and the cars parkling and the stars and the bars and the barmen, oh, my Carmen"

Richard,

If you haven't been to the parkling area, you haven't been to Flamenco.

Enjoy Culebra!

apparently parkling has a meaning I never considered...

but then again, my quote is prob. all wrong. it's been a few years.

Back on Topic!

it would be HARD work to run one of those stands.

and frankly if you are going to run one, at least learn Spanglish, a few trips back, some idiot kid at a pizza kiosk was yelling, yes, yelling at a child "You don't understand, I don't speak Spanish!"

just one of those ugly things that burn into your memory.

the pastellitos were better anyway.
