culebra to st thomas/ sea sick

does anybody know about transportation from culebra to st. thomas? is there a ferry? airplane?

also, for those of us that get sea sick and airplane sick.... every time i travel i have to take dramamine... is there one better than the other?

If you go by boat, go to the most rear part of the boat, there you will feel less movement.

I do not think there is a connection between the two islands,
At least by plane. And any boat in Culebra who offers that ride ... I will not trust it, unless it is a boat that at simple sight looks safe, and has all the safety requirements and licences. Remember if you go by private boat, you have to clear customs at St. Thomas, and in Culebra when you return, all by yourself.
You can go to Fajardo, and take a plane there, and you can find boats there too, but beleive me you need very good money to go that way.

I'm not sure if you can go directly between Culebra and St. Thomas though, unless you charter a flight.

Have you tried ginger for the motion sickness? My wife used to get really sea-sick on boat or plane. She didn't like gravol or dramamine because they made her drowsy. She now uses ginger and finds that it works very well.

Try swimming..... at least you won't get sea sick. Some locals on Culebra might take you there by boat, for a price, but again, you're on the sea.
